1) Evangelist Mark, nimbed, name inscribed, stylus in right hand writing on tablet in left hand, feet on footstool, seated on cushioned chair, beside lectern on which is open book, inkstand, knives, string and and object; on shelves of lectern, books, vessel, and rolls; buildings in background.
Miniature within medallion enclosed in frame with foliate and geometric ornament, flanked by two trees.
2) Theodore Tyro, nimbed, name inscribed, spear in right hand and sword in left hand, forming initial Tau.
