Left column:
Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, is seated on bench, raising left hand and holding with right hand, right shoulder of Christ Child, nimbed, standing on her lap. He is raising His left hand and extends right hand to container held by first of three Magi, crowned, kneeling, holding lid of the container with right hand. Behind him are the other two Magi, crowned, raising right hands, one holding vessel with left hand and the other, wearing short garment, holding casket with left hand.
Caption, EPIPHANIA DOMINI, is inscribed above scene.
In upper margin, MATH(EUS) 2, probably in later hand.
Right column:
Magi: beholding Star -- Three Magi, crowned, kneel, with joined hands. Above them is star enclosing half figure of Christ Child, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, holding left hand on breast.
Caption, TRES MAGI UIDERU(N)T NOUA(M) STELLA(M) IN ORIENTE, is inscribed above scene.
