Christ: Betrayal and Arrest -- Judas embraces Christ, decorated crossed nimbus, holding book in left hand. They are flanked by Apostle Peter, pearled nimbus, tonsured, with knife cutting bloodied ear of Malchus seated on ground, soldier wearing mail chain, and three men, one raising lantern, the second wearing winged headgear, and the third holding club.
Scene against gold background within initial D with ornament of foliage; spandrels decorated with fantastic animals and diapered ornament.
Margins decorated with rectilinear foliate extensions and sprigs of foliage.
In upper margin, hybrid man wielding saber, escutcheon with instruments of Passion, and hybrid animal (trimmed).
In right margin, winged hybrid man-bird, wearing dunce hat, and heraldic escutcheon of du Bois, variant (argent, two bars gules, on a canton of the second a mullet of the field).
In lower margin (bas-de-page), two dogs pursuing stag amid trees, and heraldic escutcheon of du Bois (argent, two bars and a canton gules).
In left margin, heraldic escutcheon of du Bois, variant (argent, two bars and a canton gules, within a bordure engrailed, or).
