Beginning of II Chronicles.
Solomon, wearing crown, seated on bench, holds scourge in right hand and model of temple in left hand. Figure within decorated intial C.
Solomon: Scene, unidentified -- On left side of lower margin, Solomon, wearing crown, sits on bench with left leg crossed over right knee and extends club in right hand toward two men, wearing pointed hats, one with right forefinger raised and the other with left hand raised.
Solomon: Scene, unidentified -- On right side of lower margin are two men, one with right hand raised and other with left hand raised. They stand behind man, with right forefinger and left hand extended toward man, playing trumpet. At right is Solomon, crowned, with hands raised.
In left margin is soldier, wearing armor, raising sword in right hand to strike dog he holds in his left hand. Below him are two men, holding axes in their left hands, and below them are two clerics, tonsured, one with right forefinger raised and left hand raised. Both stand beneath Gothic arch.
