Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, crowned is seated holding nude Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus, on her lap, her left hand touching His right foot. He holds object with left hand. Above them is bejeweled tent-like canopy held open by two angels wearing cross-surmounted fillets. Two other angels, wearing cross-surmounted fillets, stand one to each side, one playing harp, the other lute. At right woman, probably donor, kneels with joined hands next to scroll inscribed O MATER DEI MEMENTO MEI.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by dog and by half figure of angel wearing fillet, playing portative organ, emerging from flower.
