Top margin with fire-breathing dragon (emblem of Henry VII ?).
Margins with five vignettes in architectural framework (described top to bottom):
1) Giles of Provence, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk's habit, stands holding crozier in right hand.
2) Saint Humbert (?), wearing bishop's miter and vestments, stands holding crozier in right hand and open book with pseudo-inscription in left hand.
3) Virgin Mary: Birth -- Midwife, wearing kerchief, bathes nude infant Virgin Mary, nimbed, in tub on floor. In background are Anna, wearing kerchief, reclining in bed, and Joachim, wearing hat.
4) Heraclius: Scene, bringing Cross to Jerusalem -- Heraclius carries cross, followed by three (?) men with joined hands raised.
5) Month, Occupation: September -- Man, wearing hood, with basket on his back and staff in his hands, approaches tub in which man stomps grapes.
