David: cursed by Shimei -- David, crowned, wearing vair-lined cloak, stands, looking back over right shoulder at Shimei, holding stone in right hand, grasping with left hand, garment as pouch containing stones. Shimei is flanked by man wearing headgear and fur-lined garment, right arm extended toward him, and by Abishai, holding knife in raised right hand and touching left shoulder of Shimei with left hand. At right three men, wearing fur-lined garments, one holding, with right hand, raised sword against right shoulder, and another looking back, walk before David. Scene is in landscape of flowering plants, trees, and hills. In background are wind mill and possibly crosses or steeples.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament.
