George of Cappadocia: slaying Dragon -- George, nimbed, wearing helmet and armor with gauntlets, is astride bridled horse, standing in stirrups, with lance held in both hands stabbing dragon in mouth. Dragon is, lying on its back, front hoof of horse on its breast. At right is Princess of Trebizond, crowned, hands raised, stands with small dog behind her.
Scene in hilly landscape with castle and other buildings in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by bird.
