Beneath cloudy arc, Mary Magdalen, scalloped nimbus, wearing fillet, with both hands holding vessel (ointment jar?). At right, Catherine of Alexandria, nimbed, crowned, with right hand on hilt of sword and with left hand on rim of wheel (partly visible); bust of crowned Maxentius visible beneath her mantle. Scene in room with decorated background and tiled floor. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament. Miniature at beginning of the Suffrages to Mary Magdalen and Catherine of Alexandria.
