Miniature, left compartment: Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Hellespont -- Man, wearing cross-surmounted hat, with right hand touches shoulder of man, wearing hat, and one other man all accompany fourth man, wearing his garment off his right shoulder, partly baring breast, raising left hand and extending bared right arm to extended right hand of bearded man, wearing cross-surmounted hat, accompanied by two men, one wearing cross-surmounted hat and the other wearing turban-like headgear. Scene in hilly landscape with trees with city in background. Miniature, right compartment: Among three men wearing hats, all seated on grass, all surround long cloth spread with platter of meat, round loaves and knife, two, on left, hold cups with right hand, one raises it to his mouth, the third, raises food to his mouth with left hand beside water-bottle on ground. To right, woman is seated on lap of bearded man, seated on bench, embracing. Another couple embracing behind arcade. Scene in grassy courtyard with arcade and crenellated wall in foreground.
