Christ: before Pilate -- Within vaulted room, Pilate, enthroned, wearing pointed cap, accompanied to left by man wearing cap, raises hand toward Christ, decorated crossed nimbus, hands bound, surrounded by four soldiers. One soldier, with sword in scabbard, kneels on one knee in front of Christ and before Pilate. A second soldier stands behind Christ, holding Him by His shoulders. A third soldier, holding sword and shield, stands to right of Christ.
