1) Elkanah: with Hannah and Peninnah -- Peninnah, veiled, drinks from goblet in left hand and with her right hand touches one of two fishes in vessels on draped table set with knife, loaves, and breadsticks. Elkanah raises left forefinger toward Hannah, veiled, showing palm of her left hand. All behind the table, in architectural setting.
2) Hannah: questioned by Eli -- Hannah, veiled, partly kneels with joined hands raised, behind Elkanah bending and gesturing toward draped altar, beside Eli, nimbed, seated, with palm of right hand shown and with book in left hand.
