Five medallions in arched frame:
1) Evangelist symbol of John, eagle, nimbed, claws holding scroll inscribed SANCTUS IOHANNES EUANGELISTA. Between first two medallions, inscription IHS.
2) Evangelist symbol of Matthew, angel, nimbed, kneeling on one knee, hands hold scroll inscribed SANCTUS MATHEUS EUANGEL(ISTA).
3) Lamb of God, cross-nimbed, holding cross-staff with cross inscribed banner with right front leg. Frame of medallion inscribed AGNUS DEI QUI TOLLIS PECCATA MUNDI MISERERE NOBIS ET DONA NOBIS PACEM. Medallion flanked above by heraldic shield of Hospitallers (gules, a cross argent) and of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly vair and gules), and below by monogram of A and P linked by love knots.
4) Evangelist symbol of Luke, ox, nimbed, winged, holding in mouth, scroll inscribed SANCTUS LUCAS EUANG(ELISTA)
5) Evangelist symbol of Mark, lion, nimbed, winged, draped with scroll inscribed SANCTUS MARCUS EUANGE(LISTA).
Inscribed border on two sides of miniature frame. On left, TE DEUM LAUDAMUS TE DOMINUM CONFITEMUR TE ETERNUM. On bottom, motto of Pierre de Bosredont, DI CHOSSON DE NIBORO and his name PIERRE DE BOSREDONT.
Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, inhabited by rabbit. Two scrolls in left margin inscribed DI CHOSSON DE NIB(ORO) and in lower margin P DE BOSREDONT.
