David: Spoiling of Goliath -- David, wearing crown of olive leaves, holding sling containing stone with right hand and head of Goliath with left hand, stands with one foot on headless body of Goliath, wearing armor.
Scene in landscape, with castle or city in distance and battle (?) in background of three horsemen, one with lance, and two figures on ground.
Miniature enclosed in architectural frame decorated with sculptural ornament in cama³aeu including half figure of woman, wearing crown of leaves, holding garlands with outstretched arms; two putti holding torches; two satyrs flanking medallion enclosing two nude figures, probably one female, flanking fire (?).
