Christ: bearing Cross -- Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, wearing crown of thorns, bleeding, carries tau cross on His left shoulder. A helmeted soldier leads Him with rope tied around His waist. Behind Christ are Virgin Mary, veiled, with joined hands raised, Simon of Cyrene (?), and helmeted soldiers with halberds. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame with two standing figures of prophets (?). Bottom of frame inscribed D[OMI]NE LABIA M[E]A APERIES ET OS.
