Column, right: Pentecost -- Half figure of God, cross-nimbed, emerging from cloudy arc of heaven, both hands raised, above Dove of Holy Ghost descending in rays amid tongues of flames which falls on heads of Virgin Mary, veiled, with joined hands raised, surrounded by twelve apostles, all seated on benches, the foremost two, including Apostle Peter, holding books, all nimbed. Scene in room with tiled floor, beneath vault and before window showing landscape in distance. Minitature for Collect for First Vespers on Feast of Pentecost. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberry, inhabited by half figures of two prophets, emerging from clouds, one with right hand holding scroll inscribed EFFU(N)DA(M) DE SP(IRITU), and the other with left hand holding scroll inscribed P(RO)PH(ET)A B(EA)T(I) FILII (right).
