1) Paphnutius of Egypt: Scene, receiving Communion -- Angel, nimbed, with draped left hand holding chalice, extends wafer with right hand to mouth of Paphnutius of Egypt, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, accompanied four pilgrims, wearing broad-rimmed hats, one cradling tau-staff in arms, all nimbed, with joined hands raised, and kneeling.
2) Paphnutius of Egypt: Scene, sent to Egypt -- Paphnutius of Egypt, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, embracing one of four pilgrims, all nimbed, wearing broad-rimmed hats and garments of hair (one with only nimbus visible).
3) Paphnutius of Egypt: Scene, arriving in Egypt -- Paphnutius of Egypt, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, extending hands toward monk, nimbed, wearing cap and monk’s habit, accompanied by five other monks (most with only nimbi visible).
