Augustus: Prophecy of Sibyl -- Augustus, wearing imperial crown, with right hand raised, kneels looking up toward vision of Virgin Mary holding Christ Child, emitting rays, within cloud-edged arc of heaven, rayed. Sibyl, wearing headdress, stands, extending right hand toward Augustus and indicating the vision with her left hand. Scene in landscape with buildings in distance, within architectural frame.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including daisies and thistles, inhabited by bird and hybrid animal.
