Four escutcheons: 1) At center, escutcheon of Pope Paul IV -- Heraldry of barry gules and argent, surmounted by triple-crowned papal tiara with infulae, all against tied, crossed keys. 2) At left, escutcheon of Alessandro Farnese -- Heraldry of or, six fleur-de-lys azure, surmounted by cardinal’s hat with tassels on each side. 3) At right, escutcheon of Jacopo-Maria Sala -- Heraldry of quarterly, 1 and 4, azure (erased), 2 and 3, gules, a buckle argent voided or, a bordure azure bezanty, surmounted by bishop’s miter and infulae, against crozier. 4) Below, escutcheon of Petrus de Cucillis -- Heraldry of argent, three flory vert. All escutcheons within frames.
