Christ: Flagellation -- Christ, cross-nimbed, wears long loincloth. He is bound by His hands to column, topped by pelican, pecking breast to feed two young. Two tormentors with grotesque expressions flank Christ. The first tormentor raises switches with both hands above head. Second tormentor, with blackened face, raises scourge with both hands.
Scene is set in gold background and enclosed in architectural setting comprised of trefoil arch and two turrets.
