Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, reclines on bed. She holds in her right hand candle, also held by left hand of Apostle Peter, nimbed, with aspergil in right hand. Behind them is Evangelist John, nimbed. In background is group of apostles. Above is cloud-edged arc of heaven, rayed, within which is half-figure of Chirst, nimbed, holding Virgin's soul.
