In upper half of initial E:
Psalm 081, verse 1 (Vulg., 080, verse 2).
Man, wearing hat, plays harp, beside David, crowned, seated with legs crossed on bench, with two hammers striking one of five bells, each hung from niche of architectural frames.
In lower half of initial E:
Psalm 081, verse 9 (Vulg., 080, verse 10).
Moses: Golden Calf -- Woman plays viol, and two men, one wearing hat, and the other hooded, both blow horns, all before calf on draped altar (Idolatry).
Scenes and figures, against gold punched diapered background, all within initial E decorated with foliage.
In left margin, foliate extension with terminals of dragon and hybrid man with head draped.
