Evangelist Luke, nimbed, seated on cushioned bench, bends over desk, holding inkhorn with left hand and writing with pen in right hand, in book (?) on the lectern. Medallion above encloses winged evangelist symbol (ox), nimbed, holding open book with front hooves. The medallion is inscribed with cross and IURA SACERDOTII LUCAS SERMONE FATETUR FORMA IUVENCULI HINC SIBI RITE DATUR.
All is enclosed in arch supported by columns with capitals, decorated with foliate ornament and interlace.
