David and Bathsheba: Bathsheba bathing -- David, crowned, wearing ermine-trimmed garments, holds scepter in right hand and raises left hand, emerging from gate of castle wall, looking toward Bathsheba, nude, cupping right breast in left hand, bathing beside fountain decorated with spire; castle walls and towers in background.
Miniature within architectural frame, enclosing two standing figures, possibly prophets, in architectural niches.
Bottom of frame is inscribed with incipit of D(OMI)NE NE IN FVRORE TVO from Psalm 006:01 (Vulg., 006:02), at beginning of Seven Penitential Psalms.
