Christ: Nativity -- Beneath rays issuing from upper left, Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, possibly kneeling, with left hand resting on staff, behind Virgin Mary, nimbus as rays, kneeling with joined hands lowered toward Christ Child, rayed, nude, reclining on ground, the latter two partly covered beneath shed, in eaves of roof are perching two birds; in the shed, ox and bridled ass, latter eating from trough.
