Christ: in Gethsemane -- Christ, rayed nimbus, orant, kneeling, and looking up toward chalice atop rock formation. In foreground, three sleeping apostles, nimbed, including Apostle Peter at far left. Behind wattle fence at left, group of helmeted soldiers are led by Judas and wield torches and spears (Christ: Betrayal, Arrival in Garden). In background, sun setting over city buildings; starry sky. Margins decorated with diapered border with infilling of flowers, pearls, and acorns.
