Beneath cloudy arc, Barbara of Nicomedia, scalloped nimbus, wearing ermine-lined mantle, with right hand holding book and with left hand on tower with windows and arched door. At right, Margaret of Antioch, scalloped nimbus, with joined hands holding cross, emerging from back of dragon, from its mouth issuing part of her garment (Margaret of Antioch: Scene, emerging from Dragon). Scene in room with tesselated background and tiled floor. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament. Miniature at beginning of the Suffrages to Barbara of Nicomedia and Margaret of Antioch.
