Christ: Presentation -- Next to draped altar, Virgin Mary, nimbed, holds nude Christ Child, cross-nimbed, before Simeon as High Priest, nimbed, wearing papal tiara, hands extended. They are amid group of men and women including, Anna the Prophetess, wearing hat, holding, with right hand, basket containing two doves; three women, nimbed and veiled, Joseph the Carpenter (?) holding staff, and nine men, one resting hand on altar, others raising hands. All stand in room beneath baldachino.
Miniature within arched frame.
Margins decorated with floreate and foliate ornament, including large branches, and dianthus, and inhabited by moth, fantastic animal, and hybrid man playing bagpipe.
