Anthony Abbot the Great, nimbed, wearing robe inscribed with tau cross, sits on cushion on canopied throne, with right hand raised and holding closed book with two clasps on left knee. He is flanked by two devils. Beside him is seated pig beside fire, and walking cane.
Margins with floreate and scroll ornament, inhabited by fantastic man (?), either a hybrid with fantastic animal or emerging from back of fantastic animal; and in lower margin by monkey, wearing clothing and pointed hat and with sword at his waist, holding pen (?) in right hand to head of fantastic bird upon which he stands.
