De Mulieribus Claris: Scene, Leaena tortured -- Leaena, dressed in white, blood, and possibly tongue, spraying from her mouth, her hands each bound and stretched over her head, reclines across narrow bench. Her feet are bound with rope; end of the rope passes through ring on wall and is held by man kneeling on right knee and looking towards her. At left, two men look on; one wearing hat, with hands up sleeves and purse hanging from girdle and the other wearing hat and fur lined cape, extending right and holding walking stick with left hand. Pitcher on floor in right foreground.
