Miniature:
Christ: Deposition -- Virgin Mary (?), decorated nimbus, veiled, kneeling on one knee, holds detached right hand of Christ, rayed and decorated nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, His torso lowered by Joseph of Arimethea, with purse on belt, from cross with titulus inscribed INRI. Nicodemus, standing on ladder, with pincers pulls nail from Christ's left hand on the cross. Sun and moon flank cross above. Skull and bones lie at base of the cross.
