Stephen Protomartyr: in Synagogue -- Stephen Protomartyr stands, back turned, before seated figure and standing figure. Seated figure extends right hand. Soldier, leaning on spear, stands behind Stephen. Architecture of synogogue visible behind figures.
Scene occurs within initial C composed of figures and foliate motifs.
Margins:
Foliate border of acanthus-leaf vine-scrolls frames text. Putti and other figures inhabit borders.
In left border, mounted soldier with shield rides over nude figure on ground.
In lower border, two nude figures battle.
