Christ: Resurrection -- Christ, crossed nimbus, body draped, raising right hand, holding cross-inscribed banner with left hand, stands before sarcophagus; two soldiers, resting heads on arms, one holding shield and halberd (?), the other holding spear, sit behind the sarcophagus. All enclosed in initial D decorated with foliate ornament. Text is collect from Lauds on Easter Sunday. Christ: on Road to Emmaus -- Two disciples, one nimbed, gesturing toward Christ as pilgrim, wearing pilgrim’s hat with shell, and holding walking stick with right hand. Foliate initial I at right. Text is first lesson in first Nocturn for Matins on Monday in Octave of Easter. Border of foliate vine scroll with flowers, enclosing text.
