Profile bust of cleric, possibly monk, tonsured, enclosed in initial H decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in lower margin, man, wearing diadem (crown), prone, extending right hand toward gold ball, looking back toward feet. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on 8.22, feast of Timothy of Rome and octave of the feast of the Assumption.
