Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, decorated crossed nimbus, is affixed to cross by three nails. Blood issues from wounds. Above crossbar, two angels look down, one angel holding sun, the other angel holding moon. Christ is flanked by Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, veiled, raising right hand to chest, and Evangelist John, decorated nimbus, holding book in left hand.
Scene set in gold background and enclosed in frame consisting of half figures of prophets in rectangular frames.
From top left, clockwise are: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Malachi, Zacharias, Haggai, Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Micah, Nahum, Jonah. All, wearing pointed caps and pointing to Crucifixion, hold scrolls inscribed with names.
