Bishop, possibly Ambrose of Milan, nimbed, wearing miter with infulae, cope and gloves, holding crozier with both hands; Augustine of Hippo, nimbed, wearing miter, cope and gloves, holding heart with right hand and crozier with left hand; Thomas Aquinas (?), nimbed, wearing cap and ermine lined garment, holding with left hand scroll with pseudo-inscription. Above, half-figure of God, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding open book, face out, with left hand, appears in cloud-edged arc of Heaven.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by bird. Scroll inscribed COR SAPIENTIS IN DEXTERA EIUS. ECCLESIASTITES DECI(M)O (Ecclesiastes 10:2).
