Beginning of Tobit.
Tobias: presenting Raphael -- Tobit, wearing hat, seated in chair, holds book in left hand and raises right forefinger. At right is Tobias, kneeling, with left hand extended and right hand touching the book. Behind him is Raphael, nimbed, winged, with cross-inscribed purse at his waist. Scene in decorated initial T.
Tobias: Return -- In lower margin, Anna, wife of Tobit, veiled, raises left hand to head and extends right hand toward dog. At right are Raphael, nimbed, winged, extending right forefinger, and Tobias, raising right hand. Both hold walking sticks in their left hands and have cross-inscribed purses at their waists.
In right margin is fantastic animal, winged.
