Evangelist, Luke: painting Virgin Mary -- Evangelist Luke, nimbed, stands, painting with brush in right hand. In his left hand he holds cross or fleur-de-lis surmounted panel, on which is image of Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holding nude (?) Christ Child, nimbed. Next to Luke sits Evangelist symbol (ox), nimbed, holding book between front legs. At left is lectern on which is book; below the lectern are small pots, small bowl and another object. At right book is on bench.
Background of miniature and margins decorated with pink flowers. In upper margin, S(AN)C(TU)S LUCAS EUA(N)GELISTA.
