Job: with Friends Three -- Beneath rays issuing from arc of heaven, Job, wearing short loin cloth, is seated on dungheap, looking up toward two friends, wearing hats, one with belt at waist, raising right forefinger to his left hand, the other, with joined hands raised, both standing before ruined building in landscape with trees.
Miniature within architectural frame, enclosing two standing figures, possibly prophets, in architectural niches.
Bottom of frame is inscribed with incipit of DILEXI Q(VONIAM)M EXAVDIET DO(MINE) VOCEM OR(ATI)O(N)IS ME(AE) from Psalm 116:01 (Vulg., 114:01), beginning the Office of the Dead.
