Christ: Presentation -- Male figure attends Simeon, nimbed, wearing bishop’s miter, with hands draped, standing before altar on which stands Christ Child, nimbed, nude, with head turned toward and supported with both hands by Virgin Mary, nimbed, flanked by female attendant, veiled, and Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding basket of three doves in left hand. Scene in temple interior with blind tracery on walls and tiled floor. Decorated initial D inhabited by bird. Miniature and text within architectural frame of two columns supporting pediment.
