Christ: in Gethsemane -- Half-figure of God, nimbed, in arc of heaven, is above chalice on hill. At foot of the hill is Christ, crossed nimbus, kneeling with hands raised. At right, second figure of Christ, nimbed, extends hands toward three nimbed Apostles, seated on ground. Scene in landscape setting.
In upper margin is inscription DAUID O MIJN ZIEL WAIR OM BISTE DROEUICH ENDE WAIR OM UERSTOIRSTE MY
In lower margin is inscription DAUID MIJN ZIEL IS ZERE GESTOIRTE IN MY MER DU HERE HOE LANGE
