Half-figure of man, bald, extended right hand grasping stem in center margin, holding club with left hand, enclosed in initial L decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament, knots, and gold balls; in lower margin, cleric, tonsured, reclining, supporting head with both hands. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on 11.1, feast of All Saints
