Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in left margin, monk, tonsured, wearing pink habit looking up at the initial, indicating text of responsory with right hand. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn, for Matins on 11.22, feast of Cecilia of Rome.
