Miniature, column: Solomon: Judgment -- Solomon, crowned, wearing ermine-lined mantle, with right hand holding scepter, seated on throne decorated with foliage, beside man, wearing hat and fur-trimmed garment, with right hand raising sword, beside one of two women, wearing headdress, one lowering hands to indicate two nude infants laying on cloth on ground, the other kneeling with joined hands raised. Reading from third book of Samuel and Kings for Matins in Post-Pentecost season. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear, holding scrolls inscribed REGE QUI BONUS (?) and FUGE PECCATA (right).
