Miniature, vignette: Elijah: raising Widow’s Son -- Elijah, wearing hat and belted purse, kneels on draped bed in which reclines Widow’s Son, eyes closed, head on pillow. Scene in bedroom with tiled floor and window showing landscape beyond. Reading from third book of Samuel and Kings for Matins in Post-Pentecost season. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including columbines, inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear, holding scrolls inscribed DOMINE ECIAM NE and RECITATUR ORO (right).
