Martinianus of Palestine: Scene, encountering Shipwrecked Woman -- At left, ship with torn sails and broken mast, out of crow’s nest rope ladder issuing winged head, blowing air, below the ship in waves are at least four nude men (possibly the shipwrecked men).
In center, beneath winged head, blowing air, as Personification of Wind, woman, with both hands raised, seated on plank, her feet submerged in sea.
At far right, Martinianus of Palestine, nimbed, wearing cap and monk’s habit, with both hands lowered, kneeling on hilly shore.
