Abraham: sacrificing Isaac -- Angel, hovering, with left hand grasps raised sword held in right hand of Abraham, standing with left hand on sticks on altar beside Isaac, as young boy. To left is lamb. In medallion at top left corner is God (?), nimbed. Scene in initial P at beginning of Per omnia before Common Preface to the Canon of the Mass.
Border composed of bands of foliate ornament inhabited by numerous grotesques, including hybrid men and animals; owl; hawk; monkey; and dog (?) with leaf on its back.
Bands interrupted by quatrefoils with geometric ornament.
