In left column:
Micah, seated on bench, writes in open ruled book on lectern, within initial U, decorated with interlace, at beginning of Micah.
At left of the initial, hybrid woman, holding distaff and spindle. Below the initial, half figure of a man, enclosed in border.
In margins, rectilinear foliate bars decorated with lozenges, four of interlace patterns at corners, and one at top center, enclosing half figure of hybrid woman with bat wings, and with bush sprouting foliage with flowers at bottom center. Floreate and foliate ornament extends from border into left and lower margins.
