Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, reclines on mattress, eyes toward Christ Child, crossed nimbus, swaddled, reclining in manger. Two angels, nimbed, hands raised, are at side of the manger; ass and ox are at His feet. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, is seated in foreground, left hand raised to face.
