Psalm 027 (Vulg., 026):
David: anointed -- Samuel, left hand holding vessel of affusion, anoints head of David, crowned, seated on bench, hands joined as in prayer.
Scene against patterned gold background within initial D decorated with foliate and interlace ornament.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), along foliate bar, man with bow shoots arrow at lion.
In left, right, and upper margins, birds sit on foliate extensions, with rabbit and hybrid animal.
